Matt began his career in 1989 as an apprentice electrician. He worked as an apprentice and journeyman electrician until 1996, this work experience led to obtaining Master electrician licenses in 12 states. From 1996 to 2003 he worked for several wireless construction companies throughout the US. In 2003, Matt started Mill City TEC an electrical contracting business. From 2003 to 2015 he served as master electrician, electrical supervisor, project manager, sales and business development, and as strategist growing the business from 1 to over 130 employees. Mill City TEC was sold in 2014, after which Matt assisted in the post-sale transition. Since 2015, Matt has focused his time on renewable energy and in starting a new business, Premise, Inc. He is responsible for the company’s mission and vision, client relations, sales strategy, and in defining the company’s growth goals.
Chief Operating Officer
Karl has been in the construction industry since 1995 when he started in residential and commercial construction as an apprentice carpenter. He rose through the ranks as a Foreman, Construction Manager, Project Manager, and then Operations Manager. Since 2011, Karl has focused his career on the electrical and wireless industries. Karl leverages his experiences across multiple levels of the construction industry by working to ensure operational excellence. He brings integrity, skill, and a get-it-done attitude to the leadership team at Premise, Inc. His primary focus is on construction efficiency, field operations and resource management.

John has spent the majority of his career in the manufacturing industry. Starting in 1968 as a machinist, John worked for several machining companies over the years gaining experience, knowledge and responsibilities. From 1983-2007, John owned, operated and successfully grew two local machining and fabrication shops. After selling his second company, he had a change in career path which brought him to truck driving and then job costing for an electrical contracting business. In 2015, John joined Premise, Inc. as the Controller. His 25+ years of business experience and a love of analyzing numbers and systems has proven to be a real asset to Premise, Inc.
Tom started in the wireless industry in 2002. While working for T-Mobile, he took his career from retail sales to Program Management. In 2013, he transitioned to a local wireless construction company managing new site builds. As Vice President of Services, he had the opportunity to direct business development and operations as well as PM projects directly. Tom is passionate about developing relationships, ensuring partnerships are formed and doesn’t rest easy until the best product is delivered. From field, to office, to customer, communication is always his top priority. Tom joined the Premise, Inc. team in 2017. His primary focus is on project management and business development.
Hannah joined Premise, Inc. in 2016 and has been a stabilizing force for the growing company from day one. After graduating from the University of Northwestern in 2010, Hannah began her career as an administrative assistant for a small company with a rapid growth trajectory where she gained experience in a wide breadth of office management responsibilities. A true team player, Hannah’s dedication and commitment to success make her ideally situated to maintain and oversee day-to-day office functions. Her scope of work includes, but is not limited to, office and human resources management, accounts receivable, customer experience, employee on-boarding, and policy development.
